I went JB last month and I haven't got a chance to update something new since Hello Kitty Land review. The one place that I truly fell in love with is this place called Monsta Cafe / Espresso Sporting Club. Reason because I heard they serve good coffee and it is one of the -must-go cafe in JB.
Monsta Cafe serve really good food. Their cutesy menu caught my eye, and reminded me of Monster Inc the animation :)
This is a BOOM! Chicken Strip, the sauce is somehow taste different than others, I guess they made it with their own secret recipe.
Cheese bake rice, average because it is not cheesy enough :p
The Seafood Spaghetti is gooooooood!
Okay! Here comes the best spot of this place! They extended their store by attached a new coffee house next to them. The setting of this place is beyond words!
The bosses of this cafe, which are also the baristas of the house! They won 2nd runner up in Malaysian Barista Championship! Look their Latte art.... SO CUTESY!!! This is a cup of Rose Latte, taste like heaven <3
This Banana Chocolate Crepe Cake is O-M-G the awesome!!!
Well, always go back to the basic Vanilla Crepe ;)

I really love everything about this place! Their effort in making coffee house to become a place that you can feel like home... but WHY IN JB??? :(

Lovely post. I enjoy all the pictures. The place looks really nice. Too bad it is all the way in johor. I wish you had published some more photos of the place. Looks like a big cafe.
ReplyDeleteThanks to your post, my friends and I went to this cafe during our trip to JB. I've tried their cheese baked rice and it was undescribable! I dont know about yours, I think it was cheesy enough. :D
